Stamens 4, didynamous, inserted at middle of corolla tube, slightly exserted.

Male flowers: stamens 10-20, in capitate cluster at apex of androgynophore;

Stamens 2 and median, sometimes 6 and tetradynamous or subequal in length, rarely 4 and all median or 2 median and 2 lateral;

Then five petal primordia arised simultaneously in a whorl arrangement, followed by eight stamen primodia arised and last by pistil primodium.
